Duties
- Carry out a wide range of laboratory and practical quality tests on photographic products
- Safely operate specialist testing equipment and maintain accurate records
- Prepare chemicals and testing solutions following established procedures
- Record, review and analyse test results, highlighting any anomalies identified
- Support improvements to testing methods and quality processes
- Work closely with manufacturing and research teams to maintain product standards
- Maintain a safe, organised and compliant laboratory environment
Candidate Requirements
- GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above
- Previous experience within a quality control or testing environment
- Strong accuracy and a careful, methodical approach
- Confidence using computer systems including Microsoft Excel for recording data
- Ability to discuss findings clearly and question unusual results when appropriate
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a laboratory environment
- Comfortable working in laboratory and low-light or darkroom conditions
- Unrestricted right to work in the UK
