Remote Services Coordinator – Epsom (Hybrid Working)

Operating Hours: Monday to Friday: 07:00 to 20:00 / Saturday 08:00 to 12:00
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the dynamic and fast paced Physiotherapy team, who are looking for someone to join them as a Remote Services Coordinator. This is a hybrid role, working from home five days per week and one day in Epsom every quarter. Working closely with the Remote Services Senior Coordinator, the Advanced Level Physiotherapy Team Leaders, Triage Team Leaders and the Physiotherapists, the successful candidate will quickly become a crucial part of the daily running of Nuffield Health’s Remote Services.
Responsibilities
- Support the team with relevant IT systems, identify potential issues before they occur, and fix problems when possible.
- Assist team leaders with the operational day‑to‑day management of triage and case‑management diaries, liaising with other departments as necessary.
- Manage, organise and update relevant data using database applications.
- Deliver diary management service, optimising resource potential, proactively managing ahead of time and raising awareness to the business of any issues that may arise from lack of resource and overall planning.
- Expertly handle all contact with customers via several channels (calls and emails), ensuring a seamless customer journey.
- Promote a positive image of Nuffield Health through effective communication and responsive action with internal and external contacts.
- Appropriately escalates any patient or complaint issues to management.
- Communicate using appropriate channels to provide information, share knowledge and keep colleagues informed of progress.
- Adhere to Data Protection principles and ensure all information is treated sensitively and confidentially.
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management.
- Take responsibility for personal development through regular 1:1 meetings and yearly appraisal process.
- Perform any other duties reasonably requested.
- Build and maintain effective relationships at all levels across divisions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Administrator/Coordinator within the UK Healthcare market (desirable).
- Competent IT user with strong skills in Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Ability to quickly and accurately learn new database systems.
- Professional, confident and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage varied workload under pressure of multiple deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Experience of internal patient management systems (desirable).
