HGV Recovery Driver

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team within one of the UK’s most modern and professional vehicle salvage agents and parts recyclers based in Thame, Oxford.

Key duties

• Collect accident damaged and end‑of‑life vehicles from body shops, garages and private households.
• Drive a 4‑car transporter across a general collection area of a 50‑mile radius from the base.

Key skills

• Required C+E driving licence; previous experience desirable but not essential.
• Category C licence holders may be considered with relevant recovery and transportation experience; additional licence training may be offered.
• Comfortable with handheld PDA usage and basic IT equipment.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and able to work in a busy fast‑moving environment.

• Position type: Permanent / full‑time
• Working days: Monday – Friday
• Working hours: 6:45 am – 4:45 pm
• Rate of pay: Starting salary £39k – £41.5k + monthly bonus
