Facilities Assistant
Leigh Academy Rainham is seeking a committed and motivated Facilities Assistant to join our collaborative team from September 2026.
Responsibilities
- Assist the wider Estates Team with the care of the academy premises, including general maintenance duties such as minor repair and refurbishment works.
- Provide porterage and other support duties as required.
- Support the Facilities Manager in ensuring health, safety and security across the busy academy.
- Cover the duties of other team members in their absence, occasionally.
Qualifications
- Trustworthy, reliable, hardworking and physically fit.
- Conscientious and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good DIY skills and basic IT skills.
- Some knowledge of Health & Safety and an understanding of safeguarding.
- Flexible approach to working hours and duties.
