Community Ranger
Salary – £30,105 pro rata

What you’ll do
As a Community Ranger, your primary responsibilities include maintaining and facilitating access to recreation facilities for the community. You will engage in generating income opportunities, respond to community enquiries, and strengthen community connections and communications. You will build meaningful relationships and encourage volunteer involvement to enhance visitor experience.
Where you’ll work
The role is based in the Forest of Dean and Herefordshire, working from the Forestry England Office in Coleford within the West England Forest District. The district covers 38,500 ha of the nation’s forests from Shrewsbury to Savernake Forest, Bodmin Moor, and the Glynn Valley in Cornwall.
