Manufacturing Operative – Lancaster

The focus of this Mill Operator role is to be able to operate the stock preparation to a high standard of safety and good housekeeping, handle finished goods and some warehouse duties.

This must be achieved while maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and working in accordance with all health and safety procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

• To fully understand the Stock preparation process.
• To be able to both start up and shutdown the Stock Preparation Plant safely and efficiently.
• To have a good understanding of the different waste paper types.
• To ensure the correct type and amount of waste and is used, by ratio & by volume.
• To be able to safely wrap, unwrap, weigh, stack, move, load and unload wagons.
• To ensure that all finished goods are stored in the correct manner

The Mill Operator – Pulper role would suit candidates with experience as a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Machine Operator, Factory Operative, Forklift Driver, or similar role. If this sounds like you, apply today!

Job Requirements

• Right to work in the UK
• Able to commute within 1 hour
• Experience in a factory or manufacturing environment
• NVQ Level 1 or equivalent in Maths and English
