Location: Crystal Care Solutions – Shearwater

Support Workers in our Supported Accommodation Services for young people aged 16–25. Join us to make a genuine difference every single day.

Responsibilities

• Building positive, supportive relationships with young people
• Acting as a key worker and helping young people reach their goals
• Promoting emotional wellbeing, education, and independence
• Supporting young people in daily routines, activities, and personal development
• Contributing to care plans, reviews, and documentation
• Upholding safeguarding responsibilities and reporting concerns
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the home
• Supporting young people to access community, employment, and training opportunities

Qualifications

Essential:

• Ability to build positive relationships with young people, colleagues, and professionals
• Confidence using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Resilience, adaptability, and calmness in challenging situations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins
• Full UK Driving Licence
• A strong role model who demonstrates honesty and integrity
• Commitment to personal and professional development
• Ability to work under pressure, manage time and tasks effectively
• Inclusive, rights‑based approach to care

Desirable:

• Previous experience working with children or vulnerable people
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
• Understanding of child development and trauma‑informed practice
• Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
• Awareness of care regulations and legal frameworks

Salary: £27,300.00 to £35,725.96 yearly. Overtime available.

Contract type: full‑time.
