Youth Justice Support Worker – Fife Youth Justice Service

37.50 hours per week

Fixed Term to 31 March 2027

31 days annual leave plus 6 fixed public holidays

Salary Scale 23 – 26, currently £26,288 – £28,497 per annum

Sacro provide Restorative Justice and one to one Behavioural change programmes to assist young people to address offending behaviour and, where appropriate, to support young people to make amends to address their behaviour by making amends to the person they have harmed.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with young people as part of an existing Youth Justice team.




• Deliver group work programmes and contribute to psychosocial and psychological interventions as part of the team.




• Support the delivery of Restorative Justice approaches where appropriate.

Qualifications & requirements

• Experience of working with young people who offend and knowledge of psychosocial and psychological interventions, Restorative Justice and group work delivery.




• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to work both as part of a team and independently.




• Experience of multi-disciplinary team working would be an advantage.




• Commitment to Sacro’s value base is essential.

Additional requirements

• A valid driving licence is essential for this post.




• Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) will be a requirement for this post.
