About the Role
The Role
Our Survey Division hires equipment such as robotic total stations, GPS kits, construction lasers, and other survey & safety products for the construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.
The Survey & Safety Technician will inspect, test, and maintain hire equipment before dispatch and after return. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive safety checks, calibrating equipment, completing necessary documentation, and ensuring the workshop is well‑maintained. Training is provided, and the role requires a willingness to learn and keen attention to detail. The successful candidate will keep core hire equipment available at all times.
About You
- Experience working as a survey technician within a busy depot or similar environment.
- Ability to diagnose and repair survey equipment.
- Ability to work on own initiative and assist other team members when required.
- High level of IT literacy – particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Full UK driving licence.
