Manufacturing Operatives (cGMP)

An excellent opportunity to join a multi-national company who operate in the pharmaceutical sector. You will initially work on a temporary contract, but steady ongoing work is expected with a chance to go permanent.

Your Time at Work

You will be a part of a small team responsible for the filling and packing areas to support the production of finished products.

Responsibilities

• Carry out packing activities on a semi-automated filling line, including hand packing.
• Operate within GMP regulations and H&S protocols.
• Carry out additional activities as directed by the supervisor (e.g., cleaning, warehouse activities).
• Complete verification and basic inspection.
• Complete paperwork as directed by the supervisor (e.g., batch paperwork, cleaning logs).

Our Perfect Worker

• Experience of working within a production environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills required for checking batch numbers versus orders.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, required.
• Drive and willingness to achieve targets and learn new responsibilities.
• Own transport may be required due to shift work and location.
• “Good manufacturing practices” (GMP) knowledge would be an advantage, with some basic work experience including sanitation, hygiene, quality systems.

Key Information and Benefits

• You will be working in a small close knit team in a modern factory.
• Working hours are rotating early and back shift Mon-Fri:
  • 6am-2:30pm / 2:30pm-11pm Mon-Thu
  • 6am-11am / 11am-4:00pm on Fri
• £15.05 per hour inclusive of shift allowance.
• Overtime may be available and paid at 1.5x mid week / double time on Sunday.
