Retail and Customer Service Volunteer

Key Responsibilities

• Customer service
• Assisting customers
• Dealing with customer complaints
• Till experience
• To complete a delivery to meet the specific needs of the service user
• Liaise with office/warehouse staff to ensure the needs of the service user are met

Displays and Window Dressing

• Rotating merchandise
• Displaying of goods & clothing

Sorting of donated items

• Front door donations
• Quality control of all donated goods (clothes/household)
• Stock control of all donated clothes/household items
• Ensure clothes stock is sorted and stored into seasonal stock or rag items

General

• Good Housekeeping of shop environment
• Report any health and safety concern to the Shop Manager or Operational Manager
• Report any Fire Safety concerns to the Shop Manager or the Operational Director
• Report all security concerns to the Shop Manager
• Complete relevant paperwork
