Location: Ashington

Salary: £29,948 per annum (April 2026)

Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent

About The Multi Skilled Operative (Flooring) Role

This role will involve:

• As a Multi Skilled Operative your role will be aligned to undertaking all types of flooring work associated with this position, to both domestic and commercial properties to a high standard but also for the delivery of excellent customer service.

Your Experience

Successful candidates will need:

• NVQ level 2 in floorcovering or working towards.
• On‑Site training, approximately 2 years
• Linked building skills to carry out Multi‑skilled works
• CSCS card as appropriate to the role
• Experience of working within a commercial and domestic property environment
• Experience of working in a target driven environment
• Adapt to change, positively contribute and communicate effectively
• To undertake multi‑skilled trade competencies
• To understand risk assessments
• Ability to deliver work in line with construction drawings.
• A sound knowledge of building construction, components and building trades
