The suitable candidates would be able to undertake general maintenance and upkeep of grounds, buildings & equipment, as well as actioning all maintenance and continuous review and improvement of facilities operations, ensuring the environment is compliant, safe and well maintained to the highest standards.
Reporting to the Operations & Compliance Manager you will be our only maintenance person in the team dealing with day-to-day maintenance issues. Working closely with the Management Support team who will coordinate your jobs and responsibilities.

Main duties of the job
- Take under the general building maintenance and repairs throughout the Hub, including plumbing, minor electrical repairs/work, painting and decorating, and minor building work, including student houses
- Weekly testing of emergency lighting, H&S checks and legionella testing
- Maintain pathways/steps around buildings throughout the year
- Assist with all deliveries
- Keep tools and store room tidy
- Emptying of public bins around all 3 sites

Person Specification Qualifications
- Minimum of A-C GCSE or Equivalent in English and Maths
- Electrics, plumbing skills
Experience
- Experience in a maintenance environment, fabric of the building
- Joinery, Painting and Decorating
- Electrical safety
- Experience in a Health Care environment
