Bandsaw Operator

Manpower are currently recruiting for an experienced Fish Bandsaw Operator to join a busy seafood processing facility. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment, with the potential for an immediate start for the right candidate.

Location

• Site location requires own or reliable transport
• No public transport links are available to the site

Shift Pattern

• Monday – Friday
• 6:00am – 2:30pm

Pay Rate

• £12.97 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Operating bandsaw machinery to cut and portion fish safely and accurately
• Preparing fish products to customer specifications
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and health & safety
• Carrying out quality checks on products throughout the production process
• Cleaning and maintaining workstations and equipment
• Supporting the wider production team as required

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• Previous experience operating a bandsaw within a fish or food production environment is highly desirable
• Experience working in a food manufacturing or seafood processing environment is advantageous

Skills & Attributes

• Ability to operate bandsaw machinery safely and efficiently
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when portioning products
• Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a chilled, fast-paced production environment
