Assistant Manager – Exciting, Fresh, Trendy New Restaurant & Bar Group
South London / Surrey, up to £23,000 annually.
Company: Very exciting group growing across the UK, fairly new on the scene and still very much independent, offering something very trendy and fresh.
Job Brief: We are looking for a passionate and successful Assistant Manager who understands the restaurant & bar business and can drive growth to make a site successful. You will be hands‑on, involved in the front line daily. Your key responsibilities are to generate sales and deliver profit targets by leading, inspiring and developing your team.
Responsibilities:
- Generate sales and deliver profit targets.
- Lead, inspire and develop the team to exceed expectations.
- Drive excellent customer experiences, putting the customer first.
- Recruit and build a strong team through quality training and development.
- Apply social media, TripAdvisor and basic marketing to promote the brand.
- Maintain strong financial management understanding.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 months experience at Assistant Manager level in a quality branded or non-branded restaurant, bar, or food‑led pub environment.
- Proven record of success in a similar environment.
- Strong management, communication, influencing, and coaching skills.
- Ability to drive balanced business growth with measurable results.
- Experience with social media, TripAdvisor and basic marketing.
