Are you a mechanically minded engineer with a qualification in Mechanical, Quality, or Production Engineering, looking for a varied, hands‑on role offering extensive training and long‑term development within a bespoke manufacturing environment?
A well‑established manufacturer specialising in rubber sealing and moulding solutions offers this position. The company is expanding and will soon relocate to a brand‑new, purpose‑built facility in Totton.
Your role will focus on supporting the Product Development Manager while ensuring quality throughout manufacturing. You will be involved in product development initiatives, process improvements, tool testing, high‑level inspection, and providing maintenance and mechanical assistance where required.
The Role
- Support New Product Introduction and product development projects
- Perform inspections on precision components
- Conduct troubleshooting, maintenance, and process improvements where required
- Work Monday to Thursday 8:00‑17:00, Friday 8:00‑15:00
The Person
- Good mechanical knowledge
- Qualification in Mechanical, Quality, or Production Engineering
