Bay6 Supported Accommodation Service
Bay6 is a supported accommodation service for 16–24 year olds based in Leyland, Lancashire. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our passionate team.

Buildings
- Bay6 – 6 bedrooms with communal areas including staff offices
- Haddon Lodge – 5 one bedroom flats
- Belgrave Court – 6 one bedroom flats
Shift Pattern
This is a 24‑hour post to work across 7 days a week between 8 am and 10 pm, including weekends. You will be on a rota system and dates can be flexible over the week.
Objectives of Service
Bay6 provides a safe environment with a holistic approach to help young people gain and develop the skills needed to live independently through one‑to‑one support and group work.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer one‑to‑one support to young people within the service
- Ensure health and safety routines are carried out within the building
- Adhere to OFSTED standards for supported housing
- Safeguard the young people within the service
- Record in line with Barnardo’s recording policy
- Ensure young people adhere to the House Code
Essential Requirements
- Experience of working with young people and/or vulnerable adults
- Good understanding of safeguarding
- IT literate with the ability to accurately record information
