Engineering Maintenance Assistant

The University Hospitals of North Midlands is seeking an Estates Engineering Maintenance Assistant to join the Royal Stoke Hospital team following an initial training period with the Retained Estates Team at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. The role requires a keen and enthusiastic individual who can work effectively within a large team to provide a high level of service to the hospital.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Applicants must meet UK Visas and Immigration eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repairs to the hospital premises.
• Assist the Estates Department in providing support to other tradesmen and maintaining the hospital’s facilities.
• Participate in an initial training programme with the Retained Estates Team.

Qualifications

• Experience of engineering maintenance, repairs and services.
• Effective team worker with the ability to support other tradesmen within the Estates Department.
• Enthusiastic and keen to work in a large team environment.
