Responsibilities
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks across the site, including cleaning, tidying visitor areas, and basic upkeep of buildings.
- Support repair and refurbishment projects such as fixing fixtures, decorating, and restoring historical features.
- Help with installation and upkeep of exhibitions and activities.
- Contribute to special projects or seasonal events as needed.

About Gunpowder Mills
The site is a 170‑acre heritage area, protected as a Scheduled Ancient Monument and a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
We offer tours and educational programmes in line with the National Curriculum, and provide space for filming and community events.
We do not expect you to take on all the tasks, but if you think you can help with one or two we will be keen to hear from you.
