This is a depot based job with team members working in New Milton on Council sites

Hours:

37 hour per week. Some evening/weekend working will be required on a rota basis.

Our council and the role:

New Milton Town Council works to provide a high-quality environment to meet the needs of residents and visitors and defend the best interests of the Town. The Estates and Facilities Team play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our parks, sports pitches, play areas and public spaces – ensuring they are safe, welcoming and maintained to the highest standard.

Duties will include:

  • Maintain and improve outdoor spaces
  • Keep facilities safe and operational
  • Operate and maintain equipment
  • Support clean and tidy environments
  • Work across a range of sites with the Town Council’s portfolio
  • Work as a team and support colleagues
  • Adhere to Health & Safety requirements

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key attributes as well as the desire to maintain high standards, having a keen eye for detail. Ability to work cooperatively within a hard-working team and having a flexible approach to the varied workload.
