Overview

Community Payback Supervisor – operate and supervise work groups of offenders carrying out unpaid community work, drive service vehicles, and ensure tasks are performed to standard.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and motivate small teams of offenders during community payback placement.
  • Ensure tasks such as clearing overgrowth, restoring community facilities, planting trees, litter picking and graffiti removal are completed to standard.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and manage any incidents.
  • Drive service vehicles as required.

Working arrangement

Working pattern includes frequent weekend days and occasional evenings; paid 50% higher rate for weekend work.

Standard full‑time hours are 37 hours per week (excluding unpaid breaks). Flexible part‑time, flexible and job‑sharing arrangements may be considered.

Requirements

  • Full UK manual driving licence (automatic licence not acceptable).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to work weekends and occasional evenings.
