Here at On the Spot Homecare, we provide a high‑quality service to adults in our local community. You will be working alongside adults who may have a physical disability, dementia or are elderly and just require a little extra help!

Responsibilities

  • Meal preparation
  • Administering medication
  • Providing personal care
  • Home hygiene

Work arrangements

  • Shifts: 7 am – 2 pm and 3:30 pm – 9:30 pm; alternate weekends and occasional afternoons are expected.
  • Based in Skipton; no long travel times between calls.
  • Travel time, fuel allowance and bonus schemes are paid.

Training & Qualifications

Full training and two weeks of shadowing will be provided. NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is required, but if you do not already hold it we will support you to complete the qualification and fund the cost during your probationary period.

A full UK driving licence is desirable; however, if you do not hold a licence please still apply.

We are looking for somebody who can work to a high standard and who is caring and patient.
