Are you a natural facilitator — a master of coordination, multitasking, and plate juggling?

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same?

If you’re an experienced Hire Controller or Operations or Logistics Coordinator, or similar looking to bring your organisational flair to a fun, welcoming, and hardworking team — this could be the opportunity for you!

The Role

As an Operations Coordinator, you’ll play a key part in keeping everything running smoothly — acting as the crucial link between suppliers and customers to ensure equipment is delivered and collected efficiently across the UK.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with an approved list of suppliers to source the right equipment for customer needs
  • Coordinating logistics — ensuring machinery is delivered and off-hired to the correct locations on time
  • Tracking and logging all equipment movements (what, where, and when)
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with both customers and suppliers
  • Managing multiple ongoing projects simultaneously across the UK

This is a hands-on, dynamic role suited to someone who thrives on problem-solving, staying organised, and keeping operations running like clockwork.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience within the Plant Hire, Equipment Hire, or a similar industry
  • Proven background as a Hire Controller, Operations Coordinator, or similar role
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in building strong relationships
  • Strong follow-through — able to chase updates and ensure smooth coordination
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple priorities effectively
  • A genuine team player with great attention to detail and a positive attitude

The Package

  • Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 (DOE within industry) + Monthly Discretionary Profit-Related Bonus
  • Holidays: 24 days annual leave + bank holidays
  • Free Parking: On-site private car park
  • Perks: Free access to swimming pool and tennis courts on-site
  • Development: 6-monthly reviews, including regular pay reviews
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30–17:00
