We are looking for an experienced Guest Services Co‑Ordinator Shift Leader to join this Michelin starred Country House Hotel.
About the Hotel
This beautiful hotel sits in 240 acres of picturesque parkland, an equestrian centre, polo fields, kids club and plenty of outdoor pursuits, providing plenty of activities for guests. The restaurant was proudly awarded the Michelin star of excellence and showcases a modern outlook on classic British dishes with stunning views across the terrace. For a more relaxed and rustic dining experience where muddy boots are most welcome, there is also a 2AA Rosette restaurant offering a delicious brasserie‑style menu of comfort food in an informal setting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the guest service coordinators, ensuring that all required tasks are completed on a daily basis and that each shift runs smoothly through effective communication with other departments.
- Assist with check‑in and check‑out of guests, supervise billing, and ensure folios are up to date and accurate.
- Liaise directly with VIP guests to ensure all their needs are met.
- Conduct shift handover in conjunction with the Guest Service Manager at the end of each shift.
- Carry out on‑the‑job training with all guest service coordinators and act as an ambassador for the hotel.
Qualifications
- Passionate about putting guests first and providing 5* service.
- Experience supervising a front‑of‑house team and leading from the front.
- Knowledge of Opera system.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Outstanding personal presentation and grooming.
