Grounds Maintenance Operative

RGB Recruitment is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative for a full‑time, agency temporary role covering a three‑month absence in Yeovil, paying £13.45 per hour.

Responsibilities include maintaining communal outdoor spaces, including grass, shrubs and hedges, performing soft landscaping and minor tree work, responding to reactive maintenance issues, clearing hazards and dumped items, and planning and managing a fortnightly maintenance schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain communal outdoor areas, including grass, shrubs and hedges.
• Carry out soft landscaping and minor tree work where required.
• Respond to reactive maintenance issues, including clearing hazards and dumped items.
• Plan and manage workload across a fortnightly maintenance schedule.
• Work safely and efficiently as part of a supportive team.

What We’re Looking For

• Practical grounds maintenance or horticultural experience.
• A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence (towing licence desirable).
• PA1 & PA6AW and/or NPTC qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Salary: £27,976 per annum
