Overview
The Golden Jubilee University National Hospital is the home of the West of Scotland Heart & Lung Centre and has an expanding elective centre. The successful applicant will join the Pharmacy Team to manage the supply of medicines within the ward environment and the automated drug cabinet, supporting safe use of medicine and ensuring medicines are supplied in a timely manner. The post holder will rotate between medicines management services on wards and in dispensary and distribution within the main department.
Responsibilities

- Support the delivery of an effective, efficient patient-focused service to ensure all medicines are supplied in a timely manner.
- Rotate between medicines management services on wards and dispensary and distribution within the main department.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Previous Pharmacy experience is essential for this post.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proactive and able to maintain a high standard of accuracy.
Conditions
- Whole week working (5/7) and public holidays on a rota.
- Full training will be provided.
- NHS Golden Jubilee is open to considering flexible working options for this role.
