Overview
Are you passionate about supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to achieve their full potential? The school promotes a positive and supportive culture and places a strong emphasis on early intervention, inclusion and personalised learning opportunities. We are looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Learning Support Assistant will be supporting children within the Early Years setting, working closely with pupils diagnosed with ASD, delivering tailored support, encouraging engagement and helping to create a positive learning experience both inside and outside the classroom.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting children with ASD within an educational setting
- A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Early Years development and learning outcomes
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- A patient, caring and nurturing approach
- The ability to adapt to the individual needs of pupils
