Facilities Assistant (Crediton)

The post holder will work as an integral part of the Hospital Facilities team ensuring a high quality service to patients. Core duties include general environmental cleaning in all areas of the hospital and providing breakfast, lunch and supper services to patients (food & beverages). The role requires strict compliance with Trust Infection Control Policies and a commitment to maintaining a hygienic and clean environment for patients, staff and visitors at all times.
Job responsibilities
- Deliver general environmental cleaning across the hospital.
- Provide breakfast, lunch and supper service to patients.
- Observe Trust Infection Control Policies and minimise risk of healthcare-associated infection.
- Maintain a hygienic and clean environment for patients, staff and visitors, ensuring the highest standards at all times.
- Respect patient privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.
- Work as part of a team but also be confident to work unsupervised when required.
- Show enthusiasm, flexibility and a passion for cleanliness.
- Have a keen eye for detail and previous experience in a cleaning environment (previous hospital experience not essential).
Working Pattern
Monday – Friday 07:00-11:00

Fixed term contract until 09/06/2027. For current NHS employees this post could be a secondment opportunity.
