LCL Export Operations Specialist

Location: Chelmsford, Essex (Office Based)

Working hours: 0900am to 1715hrs

We are looking for an organised and proactive LCL Export Operations Specialist to join a growing freight forwarding business based in Chelmsford. This is a fully office-based position, offering the opportunity to work within a fast-paced and supportive logistics environment.

Key Requirements

• Experience in LCL export operations is preferred but not essential.
• NVOCC experience would be a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify process improvements.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Commercial awareness or sales aptitude is beneficial.
• Good operational and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience within freight forwarding, logistics, or the supply chain industry is advantageous.
