Job Summary
Severn Trent is hiring Mechanical Maintainers across the region, with roles in the South Birmingham area. This regional role will be based on a site near your home and you will be required to travel across Worcester and Gloucester. You will be provided with a company vehicle, mobile, safety gear, and tools.
Hours: Mon–Thu 7:30–3:30, Fri 7:30–3:00. Generous overtime opportunities are available, and standby will be required.
What You’ll Need
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience gained from process plants in any industry
- Experience with process control systems and knowledge of industrial mechanical installation requirements and standards
Responsibilities and Expectations
You will be expected to travel across Worcester and Gloucester, travel to multiple sites, and perform mechanical maintenance on treatment works that operate as complex process plants. You will help prevent issues before they happen and maintain safe operations.

- Starting salary of £41,761, rising to £45,164 with qualifications and experience.
