Job Title: Day Service Support Worker

Starting Salary: £25,185 progressing to £26,403 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: Hertfordshire

Contract Type: Permanent

About The Role

People with disabilities in Hertfordshire need people like you! As a Day Service Support Worker you will support people in their day‑to‑day activities. This includes providing opportunities for people to connect within their communities, and putting choice, independence, enablement, and citizenship at the heart of everything we do. You will also provide emotional and physical support to individuals from varied care groups, including older people with age‑associated needs and adults with complex physical and or learning disabilities.

About You

You need not have experience or qualifications – all training, including the Care Certificate and an RQF award, will be provided. You do require the right values, willingness to learn, and the ability to demonstrate why you are suitable. You must be physically capable of providing personal care, including bathroom support, use of mobility aids, and dietary assistance. Use of moving and handling equipment is required – you must be able to carry out these tasks safely and effectively.

  • Baldock Day Centre – Baldock (37 hours)
