Overview of role
As part of a new division a superb opportunity has arisen for an experienced Scheduler/ Coordinator the role is to prepare and coordinate mobile engineering activities and visits enabling all visits are completed right first time
Main Duties
- Source tasks for the mobile engineers from the open orders in Navision, in date/priority order.
- Identify the skill set requirement for each task and allocated accordingly to a member of your engineering team.
- Compile an advance weekly schedule based on skill set and geographical location, making sure that the requirements of the Working Time Directive and statutory rest breaks are adhered to.
- Liaise with customers to seek approval for visits to proceed on proposed dates & agree working hours.
- Prepare and provide to the client RAMS & permits to work, in advance of all site visits.
- Co‑ordinate plant and materials with internal colleagues and/or suppliers.
- Provide the Service Manager with a weekly revenue earner per engineer versus scheduled forecast report.
- Communicate details of the planned visits to the individual engineers in accordance with agreed advance notification processes to enable them to have a full understanding of what is required of them and relay to them any site/task specific information.
- Provide the Service Manager with weekly revenue forecast for your regional activities.
- Attend regular team review meetings and present details of successes and areas for improvement within the previous weeks engineering activities.
What do you need to apply?
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office or equivalent packages.
- A strong customer service focus, and the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise own workload.
- Good communication skills – written and verbal.
- Experience of working in a fast paced, quality focused environment.
