Role Overview
Assistant Commercial Manager – Permanent contract, based in Birmingham (hybrid working).
Salary: £30,000-35,000 plus large company benefits, a flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid volunteering days a year.
Hours: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday.

Key Responsibilities
Role Purpose: Support the Commercial department in commercial activities for the UK technology business, both pre- and post-contract.
Pre-Contract Activities:
- Provide commercial and contractual support to Pre-Sales functions on new business opportunities.
- Participate in Customer & Sub-Contractor contract reviews.
- Review bid packs to identify risks and propose mark-ups of proposed terms.
- Contract drafting.
- Prepare contracts for signature and manage the signature process according to governance procedures.
Post-Contract Activities:
- Provide commercial and contractual support to account and service delivery managers.
- Support change management: review change requests and draft CCNs for volume changes, administrative changes and contract extensions.
- Support the Commercial Manager in drafting complex contractual changes.
- Follow and adhere to governance policies and upload documents to the contract repository.

- Understanding of contractual terms and conditions.
