Casual Maintenance Assistant

Are you an experienced Maintenance Assistant? Do you have electrical experience? Do you enjoy working as part of a team?

What do we expect from a Maintenance Assistant?

• Assist with the delivery, assembly, and installation of new bedroom furniture.
• Support furniture replacement and refurbishment projects across the hotel.
• Move, position, and install furniture safely and efficiently within guest bedrooms and other hotel areas.
• Carry out minor repairs and adjustments to furniture as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Work closely with the Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to minimise disruption to hotel operations.
• Report any issues, defects, or project delays to the Maintenance Manager.
• Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Provide general maintenance support related to furniture installation projects as required.

What we are looking for?

• Positive, ‘can do’ attitude.
• Experience of general property maintenance, including electrical. Hotel maintenance experience is advantageous.
• Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including weekends.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety at Work regulations.
• The ability to work as part of a team or independently, as required.
• The ability to respond to queries quickly and problem solve effectively.
