Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School
Location: Bristol
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: £96.25 to £105 per day
As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll work alongside experienced teachers, supporting students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You’ll help pupils overcome barriers to learning, deliver small group and one-to-one interventions, encourage positive behaviour, and play an important role in creating an engaging learning environment where every student can thrive.
This role is ideal for:

The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working with young people, either in schools or other educational settings
- Confidence supporting students one-to-one and in small groups
- An understanding of behaviour management strategies
- Experience supporting students with SEN and/or SEMH is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach
