Dermatology Biologics Coordinator, Band 3 (7.5 hours a week)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, well organised, committed individual to join the Dermatology Team as a Biologics Coordinator, providing an efficient and professional service to the Pharmacist and Inflammatory team. The ability to work on your own initiative but also be a good team player will be a key attribute.
Main duties of the job
This role provides a professional and efficient service to coordinate and enable timely biologic treatments for an expanding patient base across a range of dermatological conditions, including psoriasis, eczema, and urticaria.
Joining a large specialty team comprised of 10 consultants and 3 inflammatory specialist nurses, the successful candidate must be a highly motivated, hardworking individual capable of thriving both independently and collaboratively.

Job responsibilities
- Educated to GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in literacy and numeracy NVQ level three in administration or equivalent experience Appropriate experience in a hospital or office environment
- IT experience of Microsoft Office packages
- IT capability to ensure proficient use of hospital computer systems
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and to work to deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication skills with a good command and understanding of English, punctuation and grammar
- Good interpersonal skills for dealing with people internally and external to the organisation
- Ability to work flexibly within a team
- Ability to work quickly and accurately
- Ability to use own judgement and initiative as appropriate
Person Specification
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
- Evidence of experience within an administrative post in the NHS
- Educated to GCSE grade C or equivalent in Mathematics and English
- IT experience of Microsoft Excel to manage data and Microsoft Outlook
- Good command and understanding of English, punctuation and grammar
- Good communication and social skills
- Good and effective organisational skills including a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
