Location: RochdaleHours of Work: 22:00 – 06:00Contract Type: Temporary (with potential for permanent placement)
About the Role: We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is a temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent. The successful candidate will operate a Low-Level Order Picker (LLOP) to pick and pack products in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, while maintaining a safe and tidy workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Order picking using LLOP equipment
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Manual handling and lifting
- General warehouse duties
- Maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Meeting performance targets
- Upholding health and safety standards
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar setting
- Proficient in operating LLOP machinery
- Familiarity with voice picking systems
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in cold environments and at height
Additional Requirements
- Safety boots are essential for this role
