Multi Skilled Painter And Maintenance Technician

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter to support fire door maintenance works for a major hospitality client. This role involves carrying out maintenance and repairs to fire doors, ensuring all work complies with current building regulations and fire safety legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out fire door maintenance and repairs in line with regulations
• Assess jobs and prepare quotes covering labour and materials
• Liaise with clients and confidently explain technical requirements
• Certify completed work and provide accurate documentation
• Maintain clear job records and support query resolution for invoicing

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry
• Proven experience in carpentry and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of fire door legislation and certification
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable using systems and maintaining accurate records
• Practical, problem‑solving mindset
