Production Operative (dairy)

Position

Milk Filling Operative L3 – full‑time permanent contract, working 5 over 7 days covering days/backs.

£13.46 hourly pay.

We’re recruiting for a Milk Filling Operative L3 within our Production department at our Müller Bellshill Dairy.

Responsibilities

• Operate our machinery and processes effectively, delivering the required product output.
• Maintain hygiene standards within the workplace as per standard working conditions.
• Perform system upkeep and related responsibilities.
• Carry out cleaning activities.
• Conduct quality control inspections, ensuring customer expectations are met.
• Replenish materials as required.
• Carry out first‑line maintenance checks.

Skills, Experience & Knowledge

• Previous manual packing work desirable, though not necessary.
• Teamwork and collaboration.
• Capability and accountability.
• A flexible approach; ability to adapt to changing daily production plans.
• A good listener/communicator.
• Able to demonstrate initiative and prioritisation skills.
• Effective team worker.
