Class 2 LGV Drivers

Driver Hire Huddersfield

We are looking for Category C – Class 2 LGV Drivers to join our team and work alongside clients across Huddersfield, Brighouse, Meltham and Holmfirth. These roles are temporary and ad‑hoc bookings supporting holiday, sickness and business demand cover. High‑level roles may lead to permanent positions.

Drivers without a CPC may obtain training through www.driverhiretraining.co.uk.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Perform checks on the vehicle and the load before setting off.
• Ensure that the vehicle and its cargo reach their destination safely.
• Liaise with customers at the point of delivery.
• Some nights out may be required, although day work can be offered if nights are an issue.
• Be in possession of a Cat C (Class 2) UK driving licence.
• Have a current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Be able to demonstrate a Right to Work in the UK.
• Have no more than 6 points on your driving licence for minor traffic offences.

These roles may also involve non‑driving duties such as loading and unloading the vehicle; candidates should be comfortable with some lifting and safe loading demonstrations.
