Maintenance Technician
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday – PM Shift – 2PM-11PM
Salary: £55,000 + Excellent Benefits Package + Training and Qualifications + Overtime

About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be working closely with the Engineering Team and carry out daily electrical maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out in line with appropriate Health & Safety instructions and site policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily electrical and mechanical maintenance on machinery and production equipment
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations using Safe Systems of Work
- Work within a fast-paced environment, covering afternoon shifts and all electrical engineering maintenance tasks
About You
You will have qualifications either at NVQ / HNC or City & Guilds Level in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Maintenance. Alternatively, we will also consider applicants who have completed their apprenticeships scheme in electrical engineering.
Key Skills
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical or electrical discipline
- Fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance and continuous improvement
- Experience in FMCG or fast-paced environments (food manufacturing preferred but not essential)
- 18th Edition Electrical Certificate is advantageous
This is a permanent role based at our site UK Poultry – Amber site in West Bromwich, Monday to Friday 2pm – 11pm.
