Seasonal TEMP Picker

This is a part time role for 20 hours per week & is a seasonal temporary role

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers’ needs are exceeded at all times while working in a number of areas of the store – shelves, tills, stock management and picking deliveries.
• Accurately pick and dispatch goods using a handheld terminal; advise the Manager of any differences.
• Check quality, shelf life and ensure packaging is robust in preparation for delivery.
• Process deliveries efficiently to meet target rates.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service; be polite with delivery staff and respond appropriately to queries and complaints, referring complex situations to a supervisor.
• Meet designated pick rates and be willing to go the extra mile for customers.
• Always be on time and properly presented.

Requirements

• Real can‑do attitude and passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Willingness to work 20 hours per week on a seasonal, temporary basis.
• Ability to meet pick rates and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to handle customer queries politely.
• Must be over 18 years old; roles that require work before 6:15 am, after 9:45 pm, or in specific areas (warehouse, beverages, driving) only accept candidates over 18.
