We are recruiting a supervisor to join our team at iForce Stafford on a full‑time, permanent position.

Position Details

Shift Pattern: Monday‑Friday rotating shift – 06:00am‑14:00pm & 14:00pm‑22:00pm.

Salary: £33,089.24 basic per annum + £3,308.92 allowance.

Responsibilities

  • Run a busy shift managing around 50 people across various workstreams.
  • Handle damaged items in a fast‑paced environment requiring quick thinking.
  • Responsible for HR aspects: attendance, performance management, briefing the team, reacting to operational dynamics, positioning people to hit targets.
  • Have prior experience as supervisor/shift manager or senior team leader.
  • Provide training for new and existing staff to achieve high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Support the shift supervisor to achieve timely receipt, pallet build, put‑away, and dispatch of stock.
  • Ensure efficient receipt and pallet build of returned customer orders to maintain SLA targets.
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards.
  • Maintain optimum levels of stock integrity.
  • Plan staffing levels to meet required efficiency.
  • Develop and train all team members to maximise contributions and plan succession.
  • Motivate the shift team to achieve or exceed productivity and service KPIs.
  • Monitor and control the work environment for optimum efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and operatives, finding solutions for challenges.

Qualifications

  • Experience of managing teams within a multi‑client warehouse environment.
  • Process‑oriented with appreciation for specific client requirements.
  • Desire to deliver quality and cost improvements through continuous improvement.
  • People manager who leads by example, encourages team spirit, and motivates a team.
  • Adaptable and responsive to change – ability to monitor workflow and move workforce accordingly.
  • Computer literate and able to follow complex instructions.
