Job Description:

Overview

Help create a community where everyone feels seen, heard and supported.

Some of the people who need support the most are often the least likely to ask for it.

Whether through stigma, discrimination, previous experiences or fear of being judged, many people within LGBTQ+ communities face barriers to accessing treatment. For individuals involved in chemsex, those barriers can be even greater, with substance use, sexual health and mental wellbeing often closely intertwined.

At Change Grow Live Brighton & Hove, we’re committed to changing that.

We’re looking for an experienced LGBTQ+ & Chemsex Recovery Coordinator to help us reach people who may not otherwise engage with services, building trusted relationships, reducing harm and creating opportunities for lasting recovery.

This is more than a Recovery Coordinator role.

It’s an opportunity to work at the heart of one of the UK’s most vibrant LGBTQ+ communities, helping shape specialist services that are inclusive, responsive and built around the people who use them.
