Salary & Hours
£25,583 per annum pro rata (Actual salary £22,646 per annum). This post attracts a Living Wage supplement bringing the hourly rate up to a minimum of £12.00 per hour.
Permanent, 37 hours per week, term time plus 11 additional days. School hours: 8.30am-4.30pm Mon, 8.00am-4.00pm Tues‑Thurs, Fri 8.00‑3.30pm.
Responsibilities
- Support vulnerable learners in lessons across all school subject areas.
- Intervene and provide additional support to students requiring extra assistance.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to promote student development.
- Maintain excellent communication with staff, students and parents.
Qualifications & Experience
English to GCSE or equivalent is required. Previous experience in learning support or SEN is desirable but not mandatory.
Applicants may pursue teaching or further education careers within Social and Emotional Mental Health or SEND.
