Maintenance Technician – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)Location: BillinghamShift: Days (Mon-Fri, 36.5 hours a week)Join our multi-skilled Maintenance team in Billingham and help keep cGMP assets and critical support facilities operating safely and efficiently. You’ll carry out planned and reactive maintenance, supporting a highly regulated site with a forward work plan of up to six months.What you’ll doDeliver safe, compliant maintenance in line with statutory, site and engineering standards.Diagnose faults and complete servicing/repairs to manufacturers’ instructions across E&I (and broader multi-skilled) assets.Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and maintenance manuals.Prepare, isolate and reinstate work areas; manage safe handover of plant and equipment.Use cGMP systems and SAP to complete, update and archive all maintenance documentation.Provide daily progress updates via the Engineering planning system.Complete Permit to Work training and accept permits within your trade group.What you’ll bringTime-served apprenticeship or minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical, Instrument or Mechanical maintenance.Strong fault-finding skills and experience in a cGMP or other highly regulated environment.Ability to work unsupervised to exacting standards with a strong focus on safety and compliance.Confident using IT systems (e.g., SAP or similar CMMS) and cGMP documentation practices.Clear, concise communication and proactive planning; results-focused mindset.Willingness to develop multi-skill capability across other disciplines.Working patternCore hours with flexibility to support out-of-hours requirements and emergency call-outs as part of the maintenance team rota.Why join usBe part of a high-performing, safety-first team supporting critical, regulated operations.Develop your skills across disciplines with exposure to complex E&I systems and cGMP processes.Competitive salary, with 35 days holiday (Not including Public Holidays), annual incentive plan and up earn up to 21% on your pension.#J-18808-Ljbffr…
