We are looking for a permanent Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Redditch area.
Responsibilities
- Operate electrical systems across sewage treatment works and sewage pumping stations in the Redditch area, diagnosing and resolving electrical faults using testing equipment and implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain high safety standards through site safety inspections, electrical testing, and comprehensive safety assessments to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Support ongoing operation of sewage treatment assets, undertaking routine proactive and reactive maintenance to optimise performance and minimise downtime.
- Install, service, and upkeep essential treatment equipment to contribute to long-term sustainability and reliability of site operations.
Work pattern and benefits
We will provide tools and a vehicle. This is a 37 hour per week role, Monday to Friday with a standby rota (an allowance is provided).
Qualifications and requirements
- Full valid UK driving licence (essential).
- Level 3 Electrical qualification/time served apprenticeship.
- 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification.
- BS 2391 Inspection & Testing certification.
