Responsibilities
As Assistant Manager, you’ll support the Registered Manager in overseeing the residential staff team and ensuring high‑quality care and support for the children in our homes. You’ll help create opportunities for young people to engage in meaningful activities, both within the home and in the wider community.
Qualifications and Skills
You must be people‑centred, with strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills that enable you to build positive, trusting relationships with the children we support, their families, and external agencies.
Legal and Safeguarding
This role is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020. As such it will be necessary for an enhanced Disclosure submission to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
