Position Details

Role: Support/Care Worker (Permanent)Location: Centaur Court, Colne, Lancashire (Postcode: BB8 8EY)Hours: 37.5 contracted hours per week, shifts 8:00 am–10:00 pm, Monday‑Sunday, rotational days, evenings, weekends and sleep‑ins. Flexibility is essential.Pay: £12.85 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

• Support adults who live independently in their own modern apartments.
• Assist with personal care routines.
• Prepare meals and support with domestic tasks.
• Accompany to appointments.
• Engage in social activities such as crafts, gaming, music, cinema, gardening, sports and community events.
• Encourage independence, self‑expression and confidence.

Requirements

• All applicants must successfully complete a DBS check, fully funded by Lifeways.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends and sleep‑ins.
