WE’RE HIRING – EXPANDED PILING – SIZEWELL
Our highly trained and directly employed teams deliver some of the UK’s most complex infrastructure projects. With a strong pipeline of work, we are looking for experienced individuals to join our team.
Duties
- Lead the achievement of Laing O’Rourke safety targets and maintain zero tolerance of unsafe working practices
- Ensure works comply with the agreed specification and raise NCR’s with Site Foreman
- Carry out, report and record daily checks on the piling rig
- Ensure greasing and light maintenance is carried out daily
- Operate the rig safely in line with manufacturer and company instructions
- Operate within the piling exclusion zone
- Install piles in accordance with drawings and schedules
- Record pile details including depths and any obstructions
- Maintain cleanliness of the rig at all times
- Follow directions from the rig banksman for all movements
- Assist in rigging up and de-rigging
- Complete daily cab sheets
- Assist in general site operations where required
Qualifications
- CPCS Skilled Worker Card (Blue)
- Experience in LDA / CFA piling preferred
